Children in their first-year spend a good amount of time in the Practical Life area, developing all the essential life skills, fine motor abilities and a sense of order to help cultivate independence, concentration, and confidence in their abilities. The Sensorial area is introduced to the children allowing them to refine their senses in preparation for later scientific discoveries!
Second Year Children In Casa (4 Years Old)
Children in their second-year dives deeper into the study of Language, Math, Geography and Social Sciences. This year provides an opportunity for these "no longer the youngest” group to assist their younger peers while still following the leadership of their older peers.

They will be introduced to foundational skills in reading and writing, and most importantly learn to appreciate and comprehend the beauty behind different forms of literature. Math skills are also presented around this time as they learn about the true meaning of numerals and symbols.
Third Year Children in Casa (5-6 Years Old)
This final year of their 3-year cycle marks the greatest milestone. These children take on important responsibilities within the classroom, among their peers and their own personal learning.

All the knowledge and skills they have absorbed in their first two years all makes sense! It is a time where they discover the connections! The children can recognize their own potential and continue to blossom. The child at this point can confidently claim that “I can do it myself”!
